Sunny Days in Costa Rica
I am writing this article from my hotel room in Montezuma Costa Rica. It has been almost 2 weeks since my wife and I embarked on our exciting Costa Rica honeymoon. This is our first trip to this country and so far it has been one heck of a honeymoon. To think of it that we actually almost went else where instead of Costa Rica for our honeymoon as initially we were not able to confirm our flight and hotel bookings due to the peak season. Anyway called it fate or luck but there were some cancellations and we managed to get all the bookings confirmed just in the nick of time, well 2 days before our wedding to be more precise. Anyway we have planned for a 3 weeks honeymoon with the option of extending it to another week depending on how things go and from the looks of things it looks like we may just stay for a month. So far we have been to the touristy area in the Puntarenas province where we spent the first week of our honeymoon in Quepos and Jaco. Both the coastal towns were great and the beaches were simply amazing as we swam in the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean and relaxed on the beach. However the beached there could be a little crowded due to the accessibility and popularity of these places. So on the second week we wanted to go somewhere less crowded and more tranquil so that we could just relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Montezuma Costa Rica is a good choice as not only it has a beautiful beach but it is also a gateway to other wonderful places to visit such as the Cabo Blanco nature reserve as well as the amazing towns of Santa Teresa and Mal Pais. For most of the time, Montezuma is pretty quiet but come the weekend the main street of the town is transformed into a place for parties especially at a certain bar next to the beach.
