But it seems the police force are having to retain an open mind on this and include the possiblity that it may be the handicraft of local witches, the lacing being a conventional way of labeling the horse as ‘ours’ or ’special’.
That evokes the concern that the witch or warlock in question may be either a white witch/warlock or a black witch/warlock. So a moment of a worry there for the horse possessors who love their beasts and so would clearly be afraid that someone could harbour any ill spirit towards these gorgeous animals!
