Many Memories Camping In Bright - Learn About Your Perfect Weekend Getaway
I’m a very hands on kind of guy, I love the outdoors, and one of my favorite things to do is to go camping in Bright. It has been since I was a child, being surrounded by the towering peaks and forest has always been a home away from home for me. As such, I make an annual pilgrimage to the area every year.There are many different ways in which you can go camping in bright, so many different places and ways to camp. As much as there are many different camping areas available within the more remote forested areas, there are also a wide selection of caravan and camping parks in the area. A personal favorite of mine is the Mt Beauty Holiday Park, where I spent the vast majority of summers in my youth. These days, this park is a much more luxurious alternative for those who visit the area, boasting full facilities and even a rumpus room that simply has to be seen to be believed. Of course, in the nearby National Parks, there is more secluded camping available, however regulations only permit camping in areas over 200 meters from all main roads. This is a small sacrifice, as it only adds to the wild experience that you achieve by going camping in Bright. As much as there are many more choices when it comes to Bright Accommodation, camping, in my opinion, is the best way to truly experience this area, and get away from the busy cities.At Mt Hotham, near the start of the Razorback Track, there is a little gem called Diamantina Hut located just shy of the road. Camping is available here, and can I say that the views from this area have to be seen to be believed. Personally, I love nothing more than setting up my tent so that the opening faces the amazing views over Mt Feathertop and the Razorback. There is simply nothing better than opening your tent in the morning to see the sun rise over this amazing view. Lets not forget how amazing it is to enjoy a billy tea whilst taking in these views early in the morning. There is simply no better way to start the day.Another great place that I must recommend is the camping area that is located at Mountain Creek, situated at the foot of the majestic Mt Bogong. Being an ideal base for those who want to climb this peak, this locality is one that gets quite busy in the peak season, often it can be quite hard to find a camping spot here, however it is worth it, as the many bonfire memories that I have in this area make it well worth the wait.The memories that I have from when I was young going camping in Bright, I hold very close. Falling asleep listening to streams trickling away, waking up to the laughter of the Kookaburras, and the many famous dinners shares over a campfire, this is simply something to do in Bright that is not to be missed.
