Long to go back to Costa Rica
I have been working in Tokyo, Japan for the last 2 years. Initially it was tough as the food and language were really foreign to me. Now after a couple of years, I have grown to like all the fresh fish menus, rice cakes and speak the language as well. Although I am able to adjust to life here but still yearns to go back to where my first love is and that is Costa Rica. Well don’t get me wrong, Tokyo is a great place to work and live, the modern subways, buildings, clean public toilets, courteous and respectful people and so much more. However my heart is in Costa Rica as i missed the pristine beaches, lush tropical forest, waterfalls, volcanoes and the glorious tropical sun. Costa Rica was also the place that I went for my honeymoon about 5 years ago. My wife and I had a fantastic Costa Rica honeymoon and we wanted to go back again however I was posted by my company to our Tokyo branch 2 years ago to head a newly started department here. It is supposed to be just a 2 years contract but looks like I might have to stay for another year after the senior vice president in Japan requested me to do so in order to ensure that the operations of that department runs smoothly for the next 1 year before I leave.
Well right now I can only dream of going to Costa Rica as my job commitment is just too great that I couldn’t even take a proper holiday. Anyway I heard from our company’s grapevine that we might actually expand our business to Costa Rica. Well if it’s true then I would be the first to apply for any job openings there. I don’t even mind taking a pay cut to be posted there. One of my most favourite places is Montezuma Costa Rica. It is a small town located on tip of the Nicoya Peninsula which is on the north west side of the country. Although small in size, Montezuma Costa Rica has plenty to offer, first of all the beaches there are simply amazing. You can take long walks on the beach and go horse back riding with your loved one. In the evening, catch the stunning sunset view from Montezuma beach and later you can go for a private dinner on the beach while listening to serenades. If you love animals and nature, there is the nearby Cabo Blanco nature reserve which boasts of hundreds of species of animals and plants. There are also the nearby towns that you can make day visits, towns like Mal Pais and Santa Teresa are less crowded and the beaches are equally awesome.
