Gatlinburg’s Events By Season

 

A lot of people enjoy North America and its many different vacation and tourist spots. Gatlinburg is among the most popular of these destinations. Here you will discover outdoor activities, shopping, dining and of course the beauty of nature. Whatever time of the year you decide to go, vacation packages to gatlinburg are available. Here are some things that you can look forward to with every season:

Winter:

Basically there are four events that people going to Gatlingurg during this season can look forward to. Craft lovers, home makers and creative minds will surely enjoy the Arts& Crafts community holiday craft show. This happens twice during the season so if you miss it in November, you will still have another chance during December. Aside from this the lights display can also be observed as well as the Parade that comes with the official opening of this event.

Spring:

This season is filled with activities every step of the way. You’ll never have a dull moment or any free time starting with the celebration of Santa during the month of March. Follow this with the ribs festival for food lovers, a Spring Wildflower pilgrimage, fine arts festival, Scottish festival and games, St. Patrick’s’ , Easter and many other  different celebrations.

Summer:

As summer rolls in you will expect to meet it with a fireworks display done on the streets of Gatlinburg. Follow this with the celebration of the fourth of July that is marked by a parade and of course more fireworks. Watch out for the river regatta and craftsman’s’ fair as well as the Smokey Mountains Tunes and Tales where you can listen to stories told by music. Lastly this season will also have you looking forward to the annual trout tournament.

Fall:

Again you can look forward to more craftsmen’s fairs during this season. Follow this with a celebration of harvest then the festival of trees. You won’t want to miss out on the food fund raising fair and the yearly chili cook-off to keep you full. Lastly, you can also look forward to the celebration of veteran’s day.
