Business and Leisure in Costa Rica
We all know that Costa Rica is famous for its beautiful pristine beaches and stunning scenery. Many married and dating couples have made Costa Rica their number one choice for honeymoons and romantic getaway. My wife and I also joined the bandwagon and went for our Costa Rica honeymoon about 3 years ago. Needless to say, we had a fantastic time there and we actually extended our honeymoon for another week as we wanted to visit more places in Costa Rica. One of personal favourites places to visit in Costa Rica is non other than the Nicoya Peninsula. The boot shaped peninsular is located on the north west side of Costa Rica. You could fly to one of the towns over there from San Jose or if you want a more scenic route, you can drive there but it would take almost 5-6 hours to reach there. There are a few towns in Nicoya Peninsula to choose from but the best ones are the towns on the tip of the Peninsula. We stayed in both Tambor and Montezuma Costa Rica when we were there. Tambor has a airstrip so you could fly directly there from San Jose. We like Montezuma Costa Rica better as the town is a gateway to many other surrounding places like the nearby nature reserves as well as the surfing towns of Santa Teresa and Mal Pais. However Montezuma is more than just a place for holidays, it is becoming one of the best places in Costa Rica to invest in real estate. This is because the real estate prices here are still relatively low compared to other tourist towns in the country. However with the booming of the tourism industry here in the next 5 years, the real estate prices have the potential to go up many times which is good news for the real estate investors here!
