New Motorbikes – Best Deals Of The Year
It probably goes without saying, but every year New Motorbikes are put out onto the market. This means two things: 1) there is a lot of great new motorbike technology introduced to the marketplace every year; and 2) there are some great new prices to be had on the previous years new bikes. We aren’t talking about used bikes, we are talking about never been driven motorbikes that are discounted because the new year’s bikes have been introduced.For those who are looking for the best deals of the year on a new bike, this is the time to do it.
Think of it as a bit of a purging process. A dealership takes on a lot of product (i.e. motorbikes) each year in hopes of selling them all by the time next years new bikes come out. While, in a good year, they might sell a majority of them, they almost never sell all of them. This means that when the New Motorbikes come in they have to clear their lot of their old-new product. How do they do this? By sales of course. Great sales. Because the bikes are last years model they are, for lack of a better word, obsolete. Not that the new bikes have that much new technology, but in a market sense, the older models are not as disireable anymore.
This means big savings for customers. If you are willng to go with last years model, you can save anywhere from a couple of hundred to a few thousand on each bike. Typically, most companies begin to introduce the New Motorbikes in the summer/ fall season. This means by around November or December dealerships are desperate to get rid of the old bikes. Not only will the sticker prices be better, but also the deals that are offered during the standard haggling process. Think of it as a win-win situation for both the buyer and the dealer.
So if you’re looking to get great New Motorbikes at a great “old” price, look into buying last years models. You’re getting virtually the same product of the new bikes (minus a few bells and whistles), but saving money at the same time.
